Privacy

The firm does not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and does not sell visitor data. Data is shared only with the service providers named below, as needed to operate the site.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes each request, including your IP address, to serve and protect the site. Typefaces are served from the site itself. When the contact form is available, messages sent through it are relayed to the firm by the Resend email API.

Information collected

The site collects only information you send voluntarily, by email or, when it is available, through the contact form. The form transmits the values entered (name, firm, email, subject, message).

How information is used

Contact submissions are used only to respond to inquiries, to perform conflicts screening, and, where applicable, to maintain a record of the engagement.

Retention

Contact submissions are retained for the duration of an engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter. Records of inquiries and declined matters may be kept so that conflicts can be checked.

Requests

To access, correct, or delete information the firm holds about you, reach out via the contact page.

02

Terms

This site is published by Radwan & Company. The site provides general information about the firm and its practice areas. Nothing on this site is legal, investment, or engineering advice, and nothing on this site creates a client relationship or an engagement of the firm.

Engagement

Engagements with the firm are governed exclusively by a separately executed engagement letter. Submitting the contact form or sending an email does not by itself create an engagement, an expert-client or advisor-client relationship, or any obligation on the firm to provide services. An initial conflicts and scoping conversation is provided without charge and likewise creates no engagement.

Patent services

Patent services are provided by Omar Radwan as a patent agent registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Reg. No. 80626). A patent agent is not an attorney. The firm's patent services are limited to patentability searches and opinions. Patent landscapes are technical analysis, not legal opinions. The firm does not prepare patent applications and does not give infringement, validity, or freedom-to-operate opinions, or any other legal advice.

Expert networks

Consultations booked through an expert network are governed by that network's terms and by the terms agreed for the consultation.

Confidentiality

Please do not transmit material covered by a non-disclosure agreement, a protective order, or the attorney work-product doctrine through the contact form or unencrypted email until an engagement letter has been executed and an NDA has been put in place where appropriate.

Outbound links

The firm is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites linked from this site.

Intellectual property

All content on this site is © Radwan & Company, except where noted otherwise. Short quotations with attribution are welcome; bulk reproduction requires written permission.

Disclosures

A summary of standing practices that govern the firm's work. A fuller statement is provided as part of the engagement letter on each matter.

Independence

As of the date at the top of this page, the firm holds no equity, options, advisory shares, carry, or any other financial interest in any party to a matter in which it is engaged or in any company it advises or reviews, and accepts no referral fees, finder's fees, contingency fees, or success fees. Any holding in a company that is the subject of an expert consultation is disclosed before the consultation. Compensation is the engagement fee, paid by the engaging party, at the rate set out in the fee schedule furnished on inquiry. No fee is contingent on the conclusion reached.

Prior employment and academic affiliation

The principal was employed as an engineer at Apple Inc. through September 2026, and is a doctoral student and graduate student researcher at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering, which receives research funding from companies in the semiconductor and electronic design automation industries. Any financial interest arising from prior employment, and any institutional or funding relationship bearing on a party to a matter, is disclosed to the engaging party before an engagement is accepted and is recorded in the engagement letter. Potential conflicts are checked before any substantive discussion of a matter or engagement.

If any of the above changes, the change will be stated on this page and disclosed in the engagement letter of every affected matter.

Confidentiality

Information shared in the course of an engagement is treated as confidential. NDAs are executed where the work requires one. Materials produced under an engagement are not reused in another engagement, and the identities of clients are not disclosed without permission.

Independence of opinions

Engagement fees are not contingent on the conclusion reached in any report. The firm reserves the right, and considers it a duty, to return a finding that does not match the engaging party's prior position.
